    • Dear Fellow Ensign Sailor,

    Ensign Fleet 35 and the Marquette Yacht Club invite you to participate in the Ensign Region V Championship Regatta/20th Annual Bill Neumann Memorial Regatta.  This event will take place in Marquette, Michigan from August 5-8, in close proximity to the Ensign Nationals.  Here’s the calendar of events:

    Thursday, August 5

    Afternoon/evening: Boat launch, registration at Marquette Yacht Club.  We will have a vehicle with a tongue extender on hand to assist with launching, and a gin pole for raising masts.

    Friday, August 6

    Skipper’s meeting 10:00 am. 11:00 races begin.  Cocktails/cookout at club afterwards.

    Saturday, August 7

    11:00 races begin.  Fleet 35 member Colin Irish is hosting his famous Pig Roast, complete with live band and mechanical bull.  Awards ceremony will take place here.

    Sunday, August 8

    Boats hauled.

    Registration cost of the regatta is $90.  Pig Roast is free.  Jimmy John's box lunches during races are $5.  Cookout at club is $10.
